Three layers of steel give this creation an interesting feeling of depth. The outside layer is bent into a one inch deep box then colored with a classy gun blue finish. Polished steel forms the top layer that frames the shape of a cat. Graduating from reddish purple to bluish purple and modulating to the complementary yellow throughout, the inside layer is where the greatest visual dynamics occur in this piece.
