This decorative arch was designed to unify with the existing decor of the kitchen and adjoining rooms. The Fleur De Lis is a recurring theme in this space and, thus, it was used as the central figure in this ornamental vine. Thin metal vines on the periphery of the arch called for a size gradient in our design; from thick and imposing in the center to thin and graceful at the outer edges. The Fleur De Lis and inner vine curls were painted in oil to give a feeling of depth and to unify the browns of the cabinetry with the black of the arch support and outer vine shapes. This is truly a custom work of art.
